After completing a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery accredited by the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery in 1996, Dr. Brunsoman's goal was to expand his oral and maxillofacial surgery practice to include facial cosmetic surgery.  In doing this, he envisioned a place where patients could appoint to see a surgeon for services such as facelifts and rhinoplasty but could also utilize the services of an aesthetician for proper skin care regimens following facial cosmetic surgery and for performing procedures like laser hair removal and microdermabrasion.  In 2007, his vision became reality with the hiring of a medical aesthetician to oversee the patient's skin care needs including performing such procedures as laser hair removal, BroadBand Light™ treatments, microdermabrasions and acne care. Botox®, Restylane®; and other filler injections are services offered at Institute of Facial Surgery St. Paul (located in same office suite) and are performed by Dr. Brunsoman.  This atmosphere has proved to be beneficial for patients of all ages.

The treatments and consultations offered at Ideal Skin Laser Rejuvenation Center are performed by Christy Fischer, LE. She is a highly trained Medical Aesthetician who is licensed in aesthetics and is laser certified. Christy prides herself in keeping updated on the newest techniques, procedures and skin care products.  She attends continuing education classes and seminars on a regular basis.  She even goes one step further in that she shares her knowledge with her patients.
